Ignatian Advent Retreat

4-Week Retreat | Begins the Week of November 20

This Advent, we invite you to prepare to celebrate the Incarnation by participating in our Ignatian Advent Retreat in Daily Life! We will provide you with daily readings, teachings from Ignatian spirituality, and reflection questions to help you enter fully into the Advent season.

In addition to daily personal prayer, you will attend weekly small group meetings (led by an experienced retreat facilitator) to share your prayer experience and ask questions. If you choose an in-person meeting option, your retreat facilitator will provide you with a prayer booklet at your first meeting. If you choose a virtual meeting option, we will email you a PDF of the prayer booklet before your first meeting. We will have extra physical copies at the parish office if you would like to pick one up.

We hope you will enjoy setting aside time each day to slow down and anticipate the hope, love, and true joy of Christmas! Please sign up below to participate.

What is an Ignation retreat?

Our Ignatian retreats are based on the Spiritual Exercises¬†of St. Ignatius of Loyola.¬†Traditionally, the Spiritual Exercises are experienced by going away to a retreat center for silent prayer and meditation. Our retreats “in daily life” are designed to help participants experience the Exercises by spending about 30 minutes in silent prayer at home each day.

There is no charge for this retreat. If you feel called to support the work of the Center, there will be an opportunity at the end of the retreat to make a donation to make future events like this possible.
